SUSS creates strong reciprocal partnerships with government agencies to jointly advance our missions and work that focus on community development and social change.
The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is an acute tertiary psychiatric hospital. IMH offers a comprehensive range of psychiatric, rehabilitative and counselling services for children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Our treatment integrates evidence-based therapies, supported by the departments of clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, and medical social work, to provide holistic care for both inpatients and outpatients.
On 15 April 2019, SUSS and IMH signed a MOU with the aims of enhancing training and research needs in the field of social work and mental health. Both parties will collaborate on pre-employment clinical training and staff development for students and staff; joint research and development project; and joint seminars.
